ADDMAN is unifying all of our brands into a single, streamlined organization to better serve our customers. By integrating Castheon, KAM, Dinsmore, HARBEC, and ADDMAN Precision under one name, we are removing operational barriers, simplifying access to our expertise, and enhancing our ability to deliver cutting-edge manufacturing solutions with greater efficiency and scale.

Going forward, ADDMAN will operate within three specialized divisions:

  • Advanced Metals – Combining Castheon and KAM’s expertise in metal additive manufacturing, refractory metals, and scalable production solutions.
  • Polymer – Uniting Dinsmore and HARBEC’s industry-leading polymer additive, injection molding, and sustainable manufacturing capabilities.
  • Precision – (formerly ADDMAN Precision, with operations in St. Louis, Missouri (Tech Manufacturing); Baltimore, Maryland (Stanley Engineering); and Rochester, Minnesota (Domaille Engineering))

This transition simplifies customer engagement, expands our capabilities, and positions ADDMAN as the premier vertically integrated solutions provider in advanced manufacturing. While our structure is evolving, our mission remains the same: Power the Pursuit—helping customers bring complex, high-performance products to market faster.

By unifying under the ADDMAN name, we are removing operational barriers, enhancing collaboration, and streamlining customer interactions. This integration improves efficiency, strengthens our position as a vertically integrated advanced manufacturing leader, and provides customers with a single point of contact, an integrated service model, and greater scalability across metal additive, polymer, and precision machining.

Customers will experience a more seamless and scalable manufacturing process. With all capabilities under one brand, we provide streamlined communication, an integrated service model, and expanded capacity across metal additive, polymer, and precision machining.

No immediate changes are planned. However, as we integrate teams and operations, opportunities for collaboration and process improvements may arise. Your manager will communicate any updates relevant to your role.

To better serve our customers, we are organizing into three specialized divisions:

  • Advanced Metals – Metal additive manufacturing expertise, including refractory metals and scalable production. (Formerly Castheon and KAM)
  • Polymer – Cutting-edge polymer solutions, including additive manufacturing, injection molding, and tooling. (Formerly Dinsmore and HARBEC)
  • Precision – High-precision machining and engineered solutions for aerospace, defense, and industrial applications. (Formerly ADDMAN Precision, Tech Manufacturing, Stanley Engineering, and Domaille Engineering)

Each division will maintain its existing locations:

  • Advanced Metals – Thousand Oaks, CA, Statesville, NC, and Rochester, NY
  • Polymer – Irvine, CA, Fort Myers, FL, and Rochester, NY
  • Precision – Missouri and Maryland

Castheon will serve as the innovation and development hub within ADDMAN’s Advanced Metals division, specializing in early-stage development, material research, and low-rate production of metal additive applications. With deep expertise in refractory metals, material science, and complex geometries, Castheon will focus on designing, testing, and validating next-generation components for hypersonics, space, and defense.

This offering enables customers to rapidly iterate on designs, optimize performance, and qualify new materials before transitioning to scalable production. Once a design is validated, KAM will support high-volume, repeatable manufacturing, ensuring a seamless transition from prototyping to full-scale production while maintaining the strict quality and performance standards required for mission-critical applications.

ADDMAN’s development offering is built around the scientific minds at Castheon, whose expertise in material science, metallurgy, and additive design drives innovation for mission-critical applications. This offering gives customers direct access to industry-leading researchers, engineers, and additive pioneers, enabling them to rapidly develop, qualify, and transition from concept to full-scale production with unmatched precision and performance.

To support this, we provide a clear validation pathway, guiding customers through feasibility, material characterization, qualification, and production readiness. By ensuring testing rigor, statistical validation, and regulatory alignment, we help de-risk development, accelerate certification, and enable a seamless transition into scalable manufacturing.

  • Material Science & Metallurgy – We refine and enhance existing alloys through advanced processing techniques, optimizing microstructure, chemistry, and performance for extreme environments. Our expertise in refractory metals and high-temperature materials ensures stable, printable, and durable powders for metal additive manufacturing.

  • Design for Additive & Prototyping – From concept to production, we optimize geometries for weight savings, thermal efficiency, and structural integrity. Our team iterates rapidly, refining designs to ensure they perform flawlessly in production environments.

  • Mechanical & Thermal Analysis – Extreme conditions require extreme confidence. We model, simulate, and test for structural integrity, heat resistance, and durability, ensuring parts can withstand harsh operational environments before they are ever printed.

  • Validation, Qualification & Certification – Compliance isn’t a checkpoint—it’s a foundation. Our structured qualification pathway ensures materials and processes meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and mission-critical performance criteria. From AMS and ASTM standards to aerospace and defense qualifications, we guide parts through progressive testing, statistical validation, and certification, including S-Basis, B-Basis, and A-Basis allowables. By systematically increasing testing rigor and process validation, we help de-risk development, accelerate approval, and enable scalable manufacturing for high-performance applications.

This integrated development process enables ADDMAN to bridge the gap between R&D and production, helping customers bring next-generation technologies to market faster than ever before.

Dinsmore and HARBEC are now fully integrated into ADDMAN’s Polymer division, combining expertise in polymer additive manufacturing, injection molding, and sustainable manufacturing. While each technology remains a standalone offering, unifying under one division allows us to better serve customers who need seamless transitions from prototype to production.

By aligning Polymer AM with injection molding, we can support customers throughout the entire product lifecycle—helping them validate designs with additive manufacturing, then scaling efficiently into high-volume production with injection molding. This integration directly aligns with our 2025 priority of accelerating commercial success in Polymer (AM & Injection Molding), ensuring customers get the right manufacturing process at every stage while optimizing speed, cost, and scalability,

ADDMAN Precision already completed its unification in 2023 when we retired the Stanley Engineering and Tech Manufacturing logos, consolidating under the ADDMAN Precision brand. The only change now is that we will transition from the ADDMAN Precision logo to the primary ADDMAN brand, further aligning with our company-wide integration.

The Precision  division provides high-precision machining, post-processing, and engineered solutions for aerospace, defense, and industrial applications. With locations in Missouri and Maryland, this division specializes in delivering complex, high-tolerance components at scale.

By the end of Q1 2025, ADDMAN will no longer offer services at the Rochester, MN facility as it is being divested along with the Fiber Optic Business, an independent brand that operates within the site. Customers currently working with the Rochester facility will be supported throughout the transition, ensuring their projects are seamlessly relocated to another Precision Manufacturing location for continued service.

Yes, in a positive way. This transition strengthens our ability to support defense, aerospace, and high-security projects by aligning our operations and ensuring compliance with government and industry standards.

We are all part of ADDMAN, unified under a shared identity and mission. This transition organizes our operations into three divisions while allowing flexibility in how we represent our roles. Business cards and email signatures will provide options to identify your division or location, ensuring clarity for customers and partners while reinforcing our integrated structure.

Updated brand assets can be found in the company’s shared Brand Asset Library on our internal network. This includes logos, templates, and other materials aligned with our refreshed brand. We chose to lead with the Castheon name because it’s well-established in several large government programs and holds valuable intellectual property that strengthens our position in the industry. By keeping the Castheon name, we’re reinforcing stability for these critical projects and preserving our unique value in metal additive manufacturing.

This merger aligns with ADDMAN’s ‘One ADDMAN’ strategy to simplify and strengthen our brand portfolio. Just as we’ve centralized precision machining under ADDMAN Precision, we’re unifying metal additive capabilities under Castheon Advanced Manufacturing to create a more seamless experience for our customers.

Even with this integration, we’re all still part of ADDMAN. Castheon Advanced Manufacturing is simply a specialized business unit under the ADDMAN umbrella, focused on metal additive capabilities.

While the Castheon logo will no longer be used, the Castheon name will still be referenced in specific product offerings, such as Castheon Hypersonics, particularly in defense and high-performance applications where its expertise in material science and refractory metals remains a key differentiator.

Polymer AM and Injection Molding remain standalone services, but their integration under one division allows for seamless prototype-to-production transitions. Customers can validate designs using additive manufacturing and then transition into high-volume injection molding production, reducing tooling costs, production delays, and risk.

ADDMAN Precision already completed its unification in 2023 when it retired the Stanley and Tech Manufacturing logos to operate under a single brand. The only change now is that ADDMAN Precision will adopt the primary ADDMAN logo, further aligning with the corporate brand strategy.

By offering progressive testing and compliance alignment, ADDMAN helps customers de-risk development, accelerate certification, and transition confidently into scalable manufacturing.

No, ADDMAN is not changing any legal entity names as part of this transition. While we are unifying under the ADDMAN brand, our legal business entities, tax identification numbers, contracts, and supplier agreements remain unchanged.

For customers, this means there is no impact on existing supplier records, purchase orders, or invoicing processes. You will continue to do business with the same legal entities, and no action is required on your end. If any documentation updates are needed for internal records, we are happy to provide clarification.

As we move forward under the unified ADDMAN brand, our commitment to delivering innovative, high-quality solutions remains unchanged. You will continue to receive the same expertise, precision, and support you’ve come to expect—now backed by an even stronger, more integrated team.
