ADDMAN Wins Indiana Economic Development Corporation’s Manufacturing Readiness Grant

Westfield, Indiana – September 30th, 2021: ADDMAN Engineering, LLC, (“ADDMAN”) an engineering focused service bureau, is excited to announce the acceptance of a state-level manufacturing grant from the Indiana Economic Development Corporation.

The grant will be for $150,000 and will be made available to ADDMAN Engineering in the coming weeks. The company plans to use the funds to purchase a Velo3D Sapphire laser powder bed fusion machine that will ensure continued manufacturing success and economic support for the state.

Mitch Landess, Vice President of Innovation and Digital Transformation for Conexus is looking forward to assisting ADDMAN in using the funds for the purchase of a Velo3D.

“The Velo 3D is one of the most advanced printers in the world. This is an incredible device when it comes to manufacturing the most intricate parts you can imagine. ADDMAN will be able to create a wide range of parts out of nearly any material. With this grant and this device, they’ll be able to raise the bar for the additive manufacturing industry in our state.”

With an AI-powered full-stack solution including integrated Flow™ design software and Assure™ quality assurance, VELO 3D Sapphire allows for simplification of parts, previously impossible geometries, and shorter print times, without the constraints that come with traditional manufacturing or other AM providers.
