Congressman Bob Onder Tours ADDMAN’s Wright City, MO Precision Manufacturing Facility
Visit highlights the facility’s capacity to scale production for growing demand defense and space industries, and its role in Missouri’s advanced manufacturing workforce
WRIGHT CITY, MO. – October 2026 – ADDMAN today welcomed U.S. Congressman Dr. Bob Onder (MO-03) to its Wright City facility for a tour of its precision machining operations. Congressman Onder met with several ADDMAN employees, walked the production floor, and spoke with machinists and engineers about the work the facility performs for several defense and aerospace customers. During the tour, the company showed Congressman Onder its expertise in machining traditional and additively manufactured parts
The Wright City facility is ADDMAN’s hub for large-format precision machining, and the company continues to invest in the evolution from a purely traditional machining site to an advanced manufacturing powerhouse. That investment includes upgrades to the site’s infrastructure and capital investment in additional large-format milling centers – especially critical for machining of additive parts.
“We were proud to show Congressman Onder what our Wright City team is capable of,” said Glenn Traner, Director of Engineering at ADDMAN’s Wright City facility. “Our ADDMAN team is like no other; we use effort, ingenuity, and optimism to make extraordinary problems look ordinary. Our customers in the defense and space sectors need partners like ADDMAN that can scale capacity, while delivering quality.”
The tour focused on strengths the company brings to government work:
- Investment to scale: Over $10M recently invested in capital equipment, including large-format machining centers, running 3 shifts and creating double digit job growth gives the facility ability to scale with customer demand. The infrastructure upgrades underway position the facility to install new machines in weeks instead of months.
- A proven record on ITAR work: ADDMAN holds the highest quality and compliance certifications and ensures complete oversight in meeting requirements for defense and space programs.
“Missouri’s greatest strength has always been our hardworking, skilled workforce. Today, I had the opportunity to tour the Wright City facility of ADDMAN Group, a leading provider of advanced manufacturing solutions, where I saw firsthand the talent, ingenuity, and dedication of Missouri workers and the vital role they play in advancing American manufacturing,” said Congressman Bob Onder. “As technology continues to evolve, investing in workforce development and hands-on technical training is essential to equipping Missourians with the skills needed to meet increasingly complex demands. Facilities like ADDMAN demonstrate how cutting-edge innovation and skilled craftsmanship can strengthen our domestic manufacturing capabilities while creating new opportunities for Missouri workers.”
