Jay Dinsmore, the Executive Vice President at ADDMAN Engineering and former CEO of Dinsmore Inc., brings over 31 years of expertise in Additive Manufacturing (AM) and 3D Printing technologies. A pioneer in polymer printing, Jay has been instrumental in promoting Design for Prototype (DFP) and Design for Additive Manufacturing (DFAM) methodologies.
Beginning his career in 1992 as a model maker in Rapid Prototyping, Jay quickly advanced to roles in Business Development and Sales, ultimately becoming a Regional Sales Director by 1998. In 2002, he founded Dinsmore Inc., which became a leading entity in the AM industry.
Jay’s practical and unbiased approach ensures clients receive the most suitable technologies for their projects, leveraging both traditional manufacturing methods and advanced additive technologies. His contributions to the field have earned him the prestigious DINO Award at the 2019 AMUG Conference. He has served as Vice President of AMUG and has been a board member of the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) Additive Manufacturing since 2020.
